I've been making a few candy dishes that I saw on Pinterest and fell in love with them. They are the taller ones. The others are made from candle holders and antique pie plates to put cake slices or other desserts at supper on. These are so pretty on the table and just add a little more interest. The ones I chose where of old fine china. I love the conversations these bring on:)I love to sew just about anything. I also do lots of crafts and painting shabby chic. Sewing is something I've been since I was 11 years old. I made my first quilt top out of neon cotton material back in the 60's and now my daughter is the proud owner of the quilt. I make I Spy Quilts, I Spy Bags, Tooth Fairy Pillows, girls clothing, crayon aprons, pin cushions, just about anything. Sewing just gives me peace of mind and puts me in a comfort mode.

Those are so unique, beautiful, cool! Did you use Super Glue?
ReplyDeleteNo I use sillicone glue in a long tube from my husbands plumbing business but they have it at Lowes. It takes a couple days to set but then it's good to go:)
ReplyDeleteSuch a great idea, they look so pretty =D
