This is my 83 year old Dad, Brother and my oldest daughter and myself . This picture was taken 1 year ago today at the Edmonds reunion a month after Mom had died. I just found out this week that my Dad has Merkel Cancer which is on the right side of his head. This is a rare and very aggressive cancer. He will start treatments Mon. as they fitted him for a mask the same day so they could start treatments quicker as the spot grew a lot in just 2 weeks. Please say a prayer for him. I hope to get back to sewing soon as it comforts me.I love to sew just about anything. I also do lots of crafts and painting shabby chic. Sewing is something I've been since I was 11 years old. I made my first quilt top out of neon cotton material back in the 60's and now my daughter is the proud owner of the quilt. I make I Spy Quilts, I Spy Bags, Tooth Fairy Pillows, girls clothing, crayon aprons, pin cushions, just about anything. Sewing just gives me peace of mind and puts me in a comfort mode.
