The first quilt is a small 4x4 ft.quilt. A friend wanted it for a little girl as a Christmas gift just to throw over her while she was watching TV.
This is an I Spy Quilt I made for a little boy at Christmas:)I love to sew just about anything. I also do lots of crafts and painting shabby chic. Sewing is something I've been since I was 11 years old. I made my first quilt top out of neon cotton material back in the 60's and now my daughter is the proud owner of the quilt. I make I Spy Quilts, I Spy Bags, Tooth Fairy Pillows, girls clothing, crayon aprons, pin cushions, just about anything. Sewing just gives me peace of mind and puts me in a comfort mode.

I made quilts for my daughters, nieces and nephew and this year I made a fishing quilt for my daughter's boyfriend Andy since he's been in the family for 20 months. Long enough for hard work:) His hobby or passion is fishing so that was a easy quilt to gather different fishing squares together. I kept one main fishing sq. to connect the rest of the squares as you can see he was thrilled!! Now what am I going to make next??? I know I had enough left to make a toddler bed size quilt to sell!!

I made a Doggie quilt for my Daughter's boyfriend Andy for Christmas:) Yes that's him in the picture with his dog Maverick. I think I'm going to advertise this type of quilt for pet lovers and for people who have lost their pets as a memorial quilt and see if I can sell some.

I've been making Tooth Fairy Pillows and I Spy Quilts that I'm selling if you are interested just let me know:)
I'm also tired of my little calendar getting so messed up in my pocket book that I made a cover for it which is above the tooth pillows. That is the first one I made and I have plans on making more as I know others are tired of the calendars opening up and getting all messed up. I also wanted a place to put a pen and other items so I made little pockets inside. When I perfect it, I'll put up a picture!

I've had a great time playing in my new rearranged room!! I have labeled and wrapped and tucked things away where I can find anything and everything:) I even made an Ironing board and stool along with pincushions. I've been making several other items I'll list later. Now my small 8x12 room has more room:)
I've been redoing my craft room which is very small 8x12. The following pictures are some of the ways I used my space:)
I love to make quilts for someone who loves their pets. This is my daughter Teah with her quilt about her dog Baxter.

I enjoy any type of crafts!! I love to sew anything from quilts to pincushions. Take old things people don't want or like and use a little paint or material and make something new and different. I make Vintage Pillowcase Dresses, Tooth Fairy Pillows, Hair Bows,
Ironing Boards out of TV Trays and anything else I see I want to try and create:) I have a small but very well put together craft/sewing room. Faye from Carolinastitcher.blogspot.com came over and helped me reorganize it this past week. A small area sometimes takes a lot of thought and two heads are always better than one:) Can't wait to meet people who love to craft and make things like I do!! This is a I Spy Quilt, I love to make them as I never know what they are going to look like until I get started as the colors just come to me:)
