I love to sew just about anything. I also do lots of crafts and painting shabby chic. Sewing is something I've been since I was 11 years old. I made my first quilt top out of neon cotton material back in the 60's and now my daughter is the proud owner of the quilt. I make I Spy Quilts, I Spy Bags, Tooth Fairy Pillows, girls clothing, crayon aprons, pin cushions, just about anything. Sewing just gives me peace of mind and puts me in a comfort mode.

I saw this quilt at a Quilting store today and I really want to make one. I didn't buy the pattern but I think I can draw it out and create my own. I can see it made up with alot of colors and bling.

I made a new folding ironing board to keep by my sewing machine at the beach. I just love the sewing fabric on the ironing board. I also made a footstool table out of an old coffee table so I can rest my legs when I sit on the couch. I painted the legs beach blue and used fabric that I bought to make a valance for my living room and had extra.

The total $15.00. It had a rotory cutter a ruffler: and so much just look at the thread, pinsfabric marker lots and lots of items.

These are my great finds on Wednesday and I didn't spend much money: More to come on my yardsale buys.

I bought these at the Flea Market fonr $22.00 My husband is going to use them as a pattern. There is a place that gives wood scraps away every day big enough to make the mailboxes. The man gave them to me 1/2 price when I bought bought of them: I'm at the beach now and can't wait to start quilting again:Friday, June 15, 2012
Just made these Minnie Mouse table center pieces for a lady who bought the yellow outfit for her little girl's birthday. I think I'll go back and cut the ribbon a little more. $12.00 each if anyone is interested:) Starting to pack my stuff to move to the beach for the summer so I might not be back on for 2 days. I have to get my sewing stuff together as most of my clothes and other items stay there so I don't have to pack everything. I bought some new white bookcases and shoecase to stack and make room for my sewing stuff. I'm taking my new sewing machine too as yes it's still in the box. When back to Hobby Lobby yesterday got 16 more patterns for $16.00 instead of $263.84. I love it as I just wanted 1 thing on some patterns.
