Well this is the bird feeder I made and I love the soft pink and the antique dishes I used. I can't wait until June the 13th until I move to our Beach Home as I'm going to make another for there. I went there this weekend and made a black one except I put solar lights on it and it's awesome at lighting a area that was sorta dark.
I love to sew just about anything. I also do lots of crafts and painting shabby chic. Sewing is something I've been since I was 11 years old. I made my first quilt top out of neon cotton material back in the 60's and now my daughter is the proud owner of the quilt. I make I Spy Quilts, I Spy Bags, Tooth Fairy Pillows, girls clothing, crayon aprons, pin cushions, just about anything. Sewing just gives me peace of mind and puts me in a comfort mode.

Last Saturday I took a Annie Sloan painting class. Before I got there I stopped at a yard sale and bought this mirror for $1.00 yes $1.00 no mistake. The lady teaching the class said I could paint it and so I did. Without wiping off the nasty thing I painted it once with Duck Egg Blue and put a wax on it and I love it!!! I bought 3 quarts and a small container of paint along with a brush. It better paint really really good for $44.00 for a brush. Anyway I can't wait until you see what I'm doing next. Will post pictures soon. Friday, May 10, 2013
Just had to share this picture of the white Dove that has been at Dad's house for about a week now. It just sits there and watches everything that's going on like my brother mowing or dog barking at it. The Dove isn't afraid of any of us. Kinda of peaceful to watch it watching us.Thursday, May 2, 2013
Thank you for your prayers! I have been keeping myself busy as I was in the middle of redoing my bathroom before Dad passed. I just finished painting it grey and putting up my items and I'm pretty happy with it. I took Mama's bedspread above and her afghan and put it on my spare bed. Now the light fixture is a going to do picture that I found on my FB page. LOVE IT. I will do it with some of Mom's dishes as I have the fixture at the beach just waiting for me to do something with it:) I'm going back to work Mon. and I hope my nerves will be ready for 22 1st graders wanting to give me so much love but I know I'll cry.Saturday, April 27, 2013
Thank you for your messages and prayers. My Dad passed away April 19 2013 at home in his chair peacefully. Dad wanted to hold my hand the morning he died. My heart is broken! I needed my Dad today and couldn't call him. He was always my rock. Please keep us in your prayers as we start a new life without Dad.

New Years Eve and we celebrated it together. Love our slow dance together and our midnight celebration. We had a night to always remember. I love him so much and wishing he peace.

Teah's Bells Palsy has taken it course and she's now back to normal. This was a picture when it was at it's worse and she was just joking around about it. Both of these has a good outlook on things.
I now have my photo gallery working and can share some of my pictures of what I've been doing. My daughter's boyfriend of 2 1/2 years just made Captain and he asked Teah to pin him:) now that's special!!

I just wanted to check in and let everyone know what's going on with my dad. He has just turned 84 and we had a wonderful birthday celebration for him. His cancer is now getting the best of him as he has started taking the pain pills Hospice has supplied him with. He is dreaming of Heaven and telling how beautiful it is and also talking more about Mama. He is having a hard time eating now but won't complain. Please continue to pray for him. I'm doing ok but it's so hard knowing I have to let go of him. I haven't made anything but really need to start a project to keep my mind on something else. This might be a good time to start new quilt. Again thank you for your prayers.

My Dad and my oldest Daughter Jill and her husband John and the babies Harley and Prince. My purse was a Christmas present from my youngest daughter and her boyfriend. We had a great Christmas!! Took lots of pictures and ate a lot of food!! Dad has to wear the hankie because of the radiation treatments although it's 85% better. My youngest daughter didn't want her picture shown much as 2 weeks ago she came down with Bells Palsy which paralyzed her right side of her face. Her smile is straight and her eye doesn't blink but once in a while. This should start to go away before long and she will be back to normal. Teah is still beautiful to me and to the rest of us.
