Thank you for your messages and prayers.  My Dad passed away April 19 2013 at home in his chair peacefully. Dad wanted to hold my hand the morning he died.  My heart is broken!  I needed my Dad today and couldn't call him.  He was always my rock.  Please keep us in your prayers as we start a new life without Dad.

New Years Eve and we celebrated it together.  Love our slow dance together and our midnight celebration.  We had a night to always remember.  I love him so much  and wishing he peace.

Teah's Bells Palsy has taken it course and she's now back to normal.  This was a picture when it was at it's worse and she was just joking around about it. Both of these has a good outlook on things.
I now have my photo gallery working and can share some of my pictures of what I've been doing.  My daughter's boyfriend of 2 1/2 years just made Captain and he asked Teah to pin him:) now that's special!!

I just wanted to check in and let everyone know what's going on with my dad. He has just turned 84 and we had a wonderful birthday celebration for him.  His cancer is now getting the best of him as he has started taking the pain pills Hospice has supplied him with.  He is dreaming of Heaven and telling how beautiful it is and also talking more about Mama. He is having a hard time eating now but won't complain.  Please continue to pray for him.  I'm doing ok but it's so hard knowing I have to let go of him.  I haven't made anything but really need to start a project to keep my mind on something else.  This might be a good time to start  new quilt. Again thank you for your prayers.

My Dad and my oldest Daughter Jill and her husband John and the babies Harley and Prince.  My purse was a Christmas present from my youngest daughter and her boyfriend.  We had a great Christmas!! Took lots of pictures and ate a lot of food!! Dad has to wear the hankie because of the radiation treatments although it's 85% better.  My youngest daughter didn't want her picture shown much as 2 weeks ago she came down with Bells Palsy which paralyzed her right side of her face.  Her smile is straight and her eye doesn't blink but once in a while.  This should start to go away before long and she will be back to normal.  Teah is still beautiful to me and to the rest of us.

Christmas memories of my Mom and loving times with my Dad then and now. I hope all my Blogging friends a very Merry Christmas and I hope to be on here blogging again soon.  Love you all for your prayers and good wishes.  My daughters Bells Palsy which is paralyzing the right side of her pretty 28 year old face has some pain in it.  Here's hoping that's a good sign of the feeling coming back.  Dad's drinking water he collected after the rain from a mineral spring which is noted in the Bible to be healing water. Praying both get better.

Dad and I in Oct. when we went to Boone on a trip.  Wednesday we got the news that Dad's cancer is back and they can't do anything else to help him.  Please keep our family in your prayers.  Dad is my best friend and has really helped me through losing Mom 1 1/2 years ago. I'm making scrapbooks for each member of our family for Christmas.  Maybe I'll put a few of the pages up later.

Last year I made the girls a book about their dogs and a quilt with their dogs names on it.  I had so much fun collecting the pictures and putting them on Snapfish and making the hardback book.  Yes it's a real book:)  The children couldn't put the books down, I bet they read it 5 times before they opened the rest of their presents. I even took them to school before I gave it to them and read it to my classroom.  The children thought it was so cool and they call me an Author, how cool is that!!
