I have been working on several items lately! Seems I might need to finish some of them up before starting on something else so here's what I have accomplished so far. One Boy I Spy Quilt , I Spy for both boy or girl and almost finished with the girl I Spy Quilt along with an I Spy Bag. That's a lot of I Spying if you ask me:) Each quilt has 42 different squares and I use fussy cuts. I have an embroidery machine that I sometimes will do embroidery if it's a gift as: To Kathy From Grammy 2012. Well that pretty much wraps up today. I already have my material on the cutting board for a little girls outfit. Can't wait to see how that turns out!
I love to sew just about anything. I also do lots of crafts and painting shabby chic. Sewing is something I've been since I was 11 years old. I made my first quilt top out of neon cotton material back in the 60's and now my daughter is the proud owner of the quilt. I make I Spy Quilts, I Spy Bags, Tooth Fairy Pillows, girls clothing, crayon aprons, pin cushions, just about anything. Sewing just gives me peace of mind and puts me in a comfort mode.

I've been working hard trying to fill all the orders for the Tooth Fairy Pillows. This is all I have left as I've been selling them for $5.00 each. As I have an order I cut 1 or 2 extra ones out and put on my Facebook page and they usually sell. I also sell them in 3 Consignment Stores in 3 different towns. Each Pillow has a pocket in front where you put the tooth and then the money:) If you are interested in buying one the shipping is $3.00 for 1.

Well I finally finished a project I've been working on for a while. I love this material of teals, pink and greens. It's so soft and Spring time looking to me. I made most of my girls clothes when they were small and just wanted to make a little girls outfit. I'm going to put it on the website for sale. I already have plans for my next outfit:) I found a place that has some beautiful white eyelet material I will use for the ruffle! Can't wait to get started.

Well I've almost finished with my new project. If I finish before I leave tomorrow I'll put a picture of it up. If not it'll have to wait until I get back from my Spring Vacation. I hear the beach calling my name, but I'm not so sure I hear the yard work calling my name. I know it's a mess as we have several large Pine and Oak Trees in our yard. Oh well may just keep my eyes close as I walk by the mess:) Can't wait to show you my finished item!

I've been making more I Spy Quilts as a friend of mine wants some for gifts. I have about 9 cut out and ready to sew but first I have to put together the puzzle of how I want them to look! I had a friend to visit from the beach this weekend so I know this week I'm be sewing up a storm to catch up. I wouldn't have traded her visit for the world as we had so much fun.. Hope you've all had a productive weekend:)

Haven't gotten as much done this week as I was wanted to:( But I did make about 35 more Tooth Fairy Pillows. I've started mailing them out now. Tomorrow my husband will ship 2 to Florida to a friend from school, thanks Jan. I started a new I spy quilt with 6 inch squares which is the first for me as all my I Spy has been 4 inch squares. Dad and I went to the mountains to a family reunion and got there 2 hours early. So with nothing else to do we first stopped at a yard sale and bought 12 kids patterns and about 7 yards or more of kids print material for $4.00. I do love a yard sale!! Then went to thrift stores and bought 2 bags of poly pellets for $1.25 a bag and I've been paying $8.99 at Michael's. Also got several other great items that I can use with my crafts like a Scrabble game as I need the letters for a project:) Well that's all for tonight. Take care!

I've been working hard sewing the Tooth Fairy Pillows and the I Spy Quilts and I Spy Bags. I took Dad to have eye surgery Thurs. and took a bag full of TFP to turn and stuff while I was there. I completed 11 of them before they told us Dad couldn't have the surgery that we had to wait 2 or 3 weeks as they had to talk to one of his other Drs. and change one of his meds. Better safe than sorry:) Anyway I hope to have a few new pictures up of another project I've set my mind on doing so come back and see what it is!!!

I've been very busy making Toothfairy Pillows for the last week. I guess I've made over 25 now:) Cutting out about 25 more and going to sew them up but not turn them so I can take them with me to work on when Dad has his eye surgery on the 16th. I think turning, clipping, stuffing and sewing should keep me busy for several hours as we should be there from 8:00am to 6:00pm. Please keep him in your prayers.

Made an Ironing Board and stool for my craft/sewing room. I needed an Ironing Board next to my sewing machine so I wouldn't have to jump up every time I needed to press something. I LOVE IT!!!
